About Chris Claeys

Prior to joining KJT Group in 2013 Chris Claeys, MSc worked as an independent consulting statistician working in areas of predictive modeling, text analytics, big data, effect estimate, and statistical computing.  His background in programming and training as a statistician afford a unique skill set for logical problem solving, the application of mathematics to solving real world business problems, and the analytical programming of a broad range of statistical models.  Chris has presented at numerous conferences on topics ranging from methodological comparisons to introductions to statistical computing to predictive modeling of complex data sets; his poster comparing methods of bias reduction in observational studies at ISPOR’s 19th annual international meeting was a finalist for the “best poster” award.  Chris holds a BA degree in Psychology from St. John Fisher University, and a MSc in Applied Statistics from The Rochester Institute of Technology.
